Application Instructions & Required Documentation
In addition to completing the online form below, please include all of the following documents when submitting your application to the UCD-SPREE program no later than 11:59pm (PST), Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

1. Statement of Program Interest, no more than two pages, double-spaced (approximately 500 words) – Please address the following:
   1. Explain your interest in pursuing a social science Ph.D. Describe your prior research experience or relevant coursework.
   2. What draws you to the topics of poverty and inequality?  What research questions might you like to pursue in these areas?
   3. How will the UCD-SPREE program benefit your academic undergraduate and graduate school plans?
   4. Please share why you would be an ideal candidate for this program.
