Richard W. Robins is a Professor in the Department of Psychology
at the University of California, Davis. His research
focuses on risk and resilience processes in Mexican-origin
families, with an emphasis on mental health problems, antisocial
behavior, family stress processes, self-esteem, and personality
development. For the past 10 years, he has served as
Director of the California Families
Project, an ongoing 15-year longitudinal study of 674
Mexican-origin families.
