Jahsave R. Brooks is a first generation college student who currently attends Morehouse College. Originally from Neptune, NJ, he was raised by his mother who emigrated from Jamaica. He attended Neptune High School where he graduated with honors at the top fifteen percent of his class while being involved in a series of extra curricular activities. Jahsave is a twenty year old Sophomore at Morehouse College majoring in Sociology with a double minor in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Where he is an active member of Achieve M.O.O.R.E, Charles D. Hubert Hall House Council, Destined for Greatness Mentoring Program, Scholars of Vision, and Turnt Tigers which is an organization that works to create pride and unity across Morehouse Campus. After the completion of his bachelor’s degree, Jahsave plans to attend one of the top graduate schools in the nation where he will be pursuing his Ph.D in Sociology with a specialization in Social Inequality. Jahsave’s ultimate career goal is to become a Prison Sociologist where his main objectives will be to bring forth a prison reform and reduce recidivism rates within the United States.
