Ben Hinshaw is a writer and communications manager for the Center for Poverty & Inequality Research, working with our research affiliates to produce policy briefs.

He previously worked for the UC Davis Institute for Social Sciences and holds MAs in cultural geography and creative writing. His first book, Exactly What You Mean, was published by Penguin Random House in 2022.
