Albina is a sophomore at Howard University majoring in Economics
and Political Science. She was born in Nepal and moved to
Michigan when she was ten years old. She is passionate about
equality and justice and dedicated towards diversity. She likes
to participate in local volunteering efforts both in D.C. and in
her hometown. Last summer, she interned at Heart of West Michigan
United Way to conduct research and create a guide towards a more
equitable and innovative transportation system for local
municipality leaders. She has received the Capstone Scholarship
and recognition on the dean’s list at Howard University. She is
currently attending Columbia University as an exchange student.
