Summer School: UC Network on Child Health, Poverty, and Public Policy
September 4-6, 2019 | David Brower Center, Berkeley, CA

This conference will bring together social scientists, medical experts, nutritionists and state policy professionals to exchange their respective expertise related to child health, poverty and public health and nutrition programs. The workshop features lectures, panel discussions, and networking periods; providing an intensive learning experience that will allow participants to strategize ways to shape more effective interventions. Following the workshop, participants will issue a series of policy briefs.  This “summer school” is the first official convening of the UC Network on Child Health, Poverty, and Public Policy and has been organized by the UC Davis Center for Poverty Research with grant support from the UC Office of the President’s Multicampus Research Programs and Initiatives and the UC Davis World Food Center.
