Malik is a sophomore Economics major, mathematics minor at Howard University. He is originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. On campus, he is the PR Director of the Abram Harris Economics Society, Vice-Treasurer of the Climate Change Club, and a writer for The Liberato, a student-led political review at Howard. Off campus, he is an avid runner and reader. Malik has received the Capstone Scholarship (a merit-based institutional scholarship) and two Thurgood Marshall College Fund scholarships. Also, he is a former intern at the Brady Campaign. After graduation, he intends to further his education in economics.
