Darien Waite is a junior sociology major at Morehouse College. Darien is interested in the arts and their affect on educational achievement. He hopes to one day open a charter school, which will emphasize the importance of the humanities and arts to youth in neighborhoods where resources are scarce. After Darien receives his Bachelors degree in Sociology from Morehouse College, he would like to go to graduate school to further his research in the arts and its correlation with educational achievement.
