Jones is the Marie and Max Kargman Associate Professor in Human Development and Urban Education Advancement at Harvard University’s School of Education. Her research focuses on the long-term impacts of poverty and violence on social and emotional development. She is a Principal Investigator of a multi-year experimental evaluation of the school-based four-Rs Program, which is designed to integrate social and emotional learning with literacy development.
