The Role of Childhood Friends in Social Mobility, and the Potential of Legal Text in Outcome Prediction: Two Studies Using Swedish Register and Court Data
Klara Gurzo, Stockholm University

I am a doctoral student at the Department of Public Health Sciences. I am part of the research project ‘Reproduction of inequality through linked lives (RELINK)’. My research is about the effect of social mobility on health, and how it is influenced by interpersonal relationships outside the family. My previous research examined how peers and school system are associated with inequalities, and how to improve access to healthy food to prevent obesity in underserved, low-income communities.

Event is co-sponsored with the UC Davis Institute for Global Nutrition.
