Info Session:  Call for proposals using OptumLabs Data Warehouse

The UC Davis Center for Poverty Research is hosting an informational session on Monday, November 5th from 9:30-11:00am in the Economics Gold Conference Room, 1131 SS&H to introduce the OptumLabs® Partnership and the OptumLabs data assets to the UC Davis research community.  As part of a larger strategic relationship between University of California and UnitedHealth Group, OptumLabs provides UC Health researchers the opportunity to access the largest database of de-identified, linked clinical and administrative claims information in the country, providing real-world insights that can help accelerate improvements in patient care and increase value to the health care system.

This in-person session is open to all UC-affiliated faculty and staff.  Investigators interested in health services research, retrospective data, comparative and cost effectiveness, population health, and improving healthcare will find this resource valuable.

The informational session will:

  • Introduce the UC/OptumLabs partnership and the OptumLabs team
  • Provide an overview of the OptumLabs data asset (OLDW)
  • Describe the upcoming UC Health-wide Call for Proposals (CFP) to conduct research projects using the OptumLabs data assets
