Postdoctoral fellowship opportunity at Syracuse University

Syracuse University’s Maxwell School is accepting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship that will focus on the causes and consequences of food insecurity, food and nutrition support programs and policies, and programs that support low-income households.

Applicants should have experience in working with secondary data, with preference given to those who have experience with administrative data or restricted data sets. The awardee will dedicate 75 percent of time to community-based research and secondary data analysis, with the remainder of time devoted to the individual’s own research.

The initial appointment will be for one year, with a second-year reappointment expected. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in demography, sociology, economics, public policy, or a related discipline. The deadline for applications is March 15, 2021.
