In the Summer of 2025, UCI and CPIP (https://www.cpip.uci.edu/) will be hosting NextGenPop (https://nextgenpop.org/), an NICHD-funded workshop that aims to increase diversity in the field of population research and support a cohort of undergraduate scholars with emerging interests in population topics. The program includes a 2-week workshop on campus (being held at UCI from June 22-July 3) and virtual follow-up sessions, with opportunities for networking at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Population Association of America (PAA). Selected participants will receive room and board on campus, travel support, and a stipend.
