Poverty Center News and Events: October 2012

Welcome back! We are thrilled to embark on our second year at the Center after a very successful inaugural season, thanks in large part to your continuing support and dedication to poverty research.

Below we highlight our October seminars, our recent graduate student retreat, and funding opportunities you’ll want to check out, including our winter/spring call for GSR funding. We also put a spotlight on Research Affiliate Erin Hamilton’s work with doctoral candidate Ethan Evans on Immigrant-Native Disparities in Children’s Health Care and their resulting Policy Brief, which was funded by the Center through our graduate fellowship program.

We look forward to a great year of poverty research!
