In this October 2012 seminar, visiting scholar Douglas Almond presented his research on the impact of the environment on infant health.

Almond is an Associate Professor of International and Public Affairs and Economics at the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs. He previously served as a staff economist at the Council of Economic Advisers during the Clinton administration and studied the health effects of air pollution in China as a Fulbright scholar.
