Program Assistant position open!
Davis Campus

Are you interested in the work of the Center for Poverty Research? Then join our staff!

Our wonderful current program assistant, Audrey is leaving for graduate school (yay Audrey!), and we need a capable and energetic, full-time staffer to assist with planning and implementing a wide variety of events and conferences for the Center. You’ll be the face of the Center and be responsible for reserving rooms, distributing publicity, arranging travel for our visiting scholars, maintaining our website and databases, arranging for catering, and setting-up for our seminars.

You’ll also work with our payroll and grants management service centers to facilitate the smooth processing of payments to students, faculty and vendors. This includes using MyTravel to reimburse our visitors, ordering supplies through the campus online system, and working with the team to be sure the bills are paid!

This is a great position for someone interested in learning more about the research we do and for someone looking to work with faculty and graduate students engaged in multidisciplinary poverty research. You’ll get to attend our seminars and conferences, participate in our trainings (at least tangentially), and meet really interesting folks from across the U.S.

Apply by June 7 using the link below, and contact Adrienne if you have any questions!
